join the track team

I would like to join the track team in my sophomore year of high school. As I am somewhat sedentary, this will be a difficult goal to accomplish. Nevertheless, I wish to become a renaissance man, and that cannot occur with a singular pursuit of academic activities.

 Goal Accomplishment Criteria

My name is on the roster for the track team.

 Personal resources

Time (barely), Willpower, a Purpose

 Goal ecological compatibility

I really want this, as I think exercise, and being on a team will aid my physical and mental health. Additionally, it's going to look great when colleges read my transcripts.

    Getting into basic shape before I try and become a star athlete.

    What is my height?

    What is my weight?

    Answer these questions:

    How fast can I run a mile?

    How fast can I sprint 100m?

    How much weight can I comfortably curl?

    How many push ups can I do?

    How many curls can I comfortably do?

    The answers to these questions, I can guess, will be at best underwhelming, and at worst concerning.
