Career & Work

Eternity Embryo Learning Management System

I am going to create a successful Learning Management System.

My motivation raised due to this fact that there is no powerful and convenient open LMS for software engineers.

The way I will develop.

It will be an open-source product (at least the first and the second releases).

Every weekends I will do live streaming in livecoding.tv (scalamorphing channel). I speak English a little bit so I will use this skill too.

Every weekdays I will do short live streams. I will configure server without live stream (I am not sure if it's a good idea to share my server configs to everybody).

 Goal Accomplishment Criteria

LMS has been released and has 100 active users

  1. Configure server

  2. Design architecture

Reactive application: without highload (Scala &| Go).

Probably using scala.rx. I will check Go also.

First release will have strong front-end part and simple backend.

  3. First sprint

Nothing tough. Just simple posting system, messaging system, profiles, etc. So base skeleton.

  4. First release

Complete the most important features of EE LMS.

  5. Gathering the team

  6. Teach first 10 students

  7. Attract at least 30 students and at least 1 expert
