This book is about how to be a man and masculinity.

The ideal man should be half steel and half velvet.

Behind steel, the main goals and qualities expected from a man are: to protect his family, to be responsible for the family (home, money), to be a leader, strong, decided, determinated, firm, brave. The man shall build society, be strong and healthy. The aim is to bring SECURITY to his family.
Behind velvet, the man should understand women, be humble (when we become humble we criticize other people less), kind, tender, gallant and young (curiosity, taste for adventure, discovery, sense of humour, capacity to find new challenges to test his courage, inventiveness and tenacity even if he is physically old he should stay young and enthusiastic). The main qualities are generosity and patience. The aim is to bring LOVE to his family.

The ultimate goal is to bring peace, happinesss and satisfaction to everyone.

Conclusion: not easy to reach the goal to be an ideal man as many problems should be faced - (i) because of the man himself who can be lazy, (ii) because of external reasons that are not predictable and (iii) because of our own goals can be difficult or not possible to achieve but problems bring more happiness than sadness and defeats. Only we and ourselves set the reward.
