Delta 24 Hour Cancellation Policy

The Delta 24 Hour Cancellation Policy stipulates that if a traveller cancels their ticket within 24 hours of booking, the airline will issue a full refund. A passenger has a 24-hour window in which to seek a cancellation without incurring a cost. This strategy gives passengers who are unsure about the journey a second chance.

All passengers are eligible for a complete refund. The type of tickets has no bearing on the amount of the refund. If a passenger cancels their tickets on the same day as their booking, there will be no cost imposed. After the risk-free time, if a passenger needs to cancel a ticket for whatever reason, they must pay the Delta 24 Hour Cancellation Policy cancellation cost. Passengers must interact with the customer service team in order to receive a refund amount. Within three business weeks, the refund will be transferred. If the flight is delayed for more than five hours, the passenger is entitled to a full refund.
