[Art] Build a foundation (300 hours)

I know very little about art, but I have a curated collection of high-quality learning materials that I can study over time.

Why this goal matters

I believe that understanding art will help me appreciate paintings, sculptures, architecture, and other forms of artistic expression much more deeply. It will also make museum visits more enjoyable and allow me to share that experience with friends.

I want to be able to recognize major artistic periods and styles—such as the Renaissance, Impressionism, Cubism, and Naïve Art—and understand what makes them distinctive.

I also believe that studying art will improve my visual taste, which may positively influence my work in UI/UX, as well as my personal style and aesthetic judgment.

How I will know I've achieved it

• I can recognize the major periods and styles of art and explain their key characteristics.
• I enjoy visiting museums and can better appreciate the artworks I see.
• I have developed a stronger sense of aesthetics that influences my design decisions and personal taste.
