General

Pass the course "Data structures: Measuring and Optimizing Performance" on Coursera

Nevertheless the topic looks quite familiar for me after taking a glance on the materials I found it useful to go through the course. The aim of the course is to provide very consistent overview of the Java basic data structures. And which is most interesting - much attention is paid on performance and benchmarking - both theory and practice, - this aspect is extremely useful for deeper understanding how to properly use Java data structures.
